The Process

Convenient sections of the work area are curtained off to enable them to be completed during each shift

The work area is completely protected with special clear polythene sheeting hung from double sided tape applied to the perimeter walls.

All fittings & fixtures such as lights, smoke detectors, speakers and sprinkler heads are masked to prevent over-spray, polythene sheeting is also used to cover the floor area and all furniture, etc. within.

The entire ceiling is swept using soft sweep anti static brushes removing any loose dust etc. Further cleaning as required.

Any broken or damaged tiles are replaced before the entire ceiling is sprayed.

The spray is applied by airless means using a 517 spray tip for ProCoat acoustic mineral fibre ceiling coating which is water based, class O fire rated and non bridging. Two coats are applied at approximately 2000PSI and sprayed in two directions to give a consistent finish.

For metal ceilings the spray is applied by airless means using a 513 spray tip for SteelCoat ceiling coating which is water based, class O fire rated and non bridging. Two coats are applied at approximately 2000PSI and sprayed in two directions to give a consistent finish.

On completion all masking and polythene is carefully removed and the area is left as it was found.

Please Note: Very badly stained ceilings as a result of nicotine or grease may require spray application of CeilBlock.
